Biography – Tristan Galarneau

For more than 12 years, Tristan Galarneau has dedicated his career to the automotive glass industry. Curious, self-taught, and passionate about his craft, he is now the Director of Training at VitrXpert and a co-owner of the franchise. His role is to share his expertise with technicians across the network, especially in windshield replacement, repair, and camera recalibration. As a recognized technical reference, he supports branches every day in raising their standards of quality and safety.
His participation in the Auto Glass Week in Reno (AGTO – Auto Glass Technician Olympics) is much more than a competition. For Tristan, it is the culmination of years of discipline, perseverance, and passion for a trade he has always practiced with the highest standards. Accustomed to teaching and training others, this time he is taking on a personal challenge: putting himself to the test alongside the best installers in the world.
What sets Tristan apart is his relentless pursuit of excellence and attention to detail. He deeply believes that every windshield installation is a responsibility for the safety of drivers and passengers. This conviction guides his actions—whether he is training a new technician or competing on the international stage.
Outside the shop, Tristan enjoys taking on other hands-on challenges. With a lifelong friend, he manages a forest property where he builds a cabin, a sugar shack, and other handcrafted projects. This environment allows him to recharge, work with his hands in different ways, and fuel his passion for ambitious projects.
Now, Tristan comes to Reno with the goal of showcasing Québec’s expertise on the world stage. More than just a competition, it is for him an opportunity: to demonstrate skills forged through rigor, passion, and pride in a job well done.
Biography – Erick Vachon

Passionate about the automotive industry and dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service, Erick Vachon is the Owner and General Manager of Mécanique et Pare-Brise St-Nicolas (MPB), VitrXpert St-Nicolas, and a participant in the 2025 Auto Glass Technician Olympics in Reno, Nevada.
For nearly 30 years, MPB has been a trusted family business in Lévis (St-Nicolas sector). Under Erick’s leadership, the company has distinguished itself as a premium automotive center, recognized not only for its complete mechanical services but also for its advanced expertise in windshield replacement, repair, and recalibration, including specialized vehicles such as RVs and motorhomes.
A visionary and committed leader, Erick has always prioritized innovation, precision, and continuous training. Through consistent investments in technology and customer experience, MPB has become a benchmark in the greater Québec City area. The shop is also a proud member of the VitrXpert network, where it consistently ranks among the top-performing facilities in the country.
In 2025, Erick proudly represents both his team and Québec know-how at the Auto Glass Technician Olympics, an international competition that brings together the world’s best automotive glass installers. This prestigious event highlights technical skills, precision, safety, and cleanliness in installations.
Beyond his role as a manager, Erick is a true ambassador of his trade. His leadership is guided by four fundamental values that shape the work of his entire team: authenticity, rigor, caring, and vigilance.
Through this competition, Erick not only seeks to put his own skills to the test, but also to inspire his team and showcase the excellence of Québec’s automotive craftsmanship on the global stage.
Biography – Jessey Ceres

With more than 20 years of experience in the auto glass industry, Jessey Ceres, owner of VitrXpert Val-d’Or, is recognized for his meticulous work and expertise. Known for building strong customer trust and a solid reputation in his region, Jessey naturally chose to launch his own shop and join the VitrXpert network.
In September, he will proudly represent Québec and the VitrXpert banner as a participant in the Auto Glass Technician Olympics 2025 at Auto Glass Week in Reno, Nevada. For him, the event is both a personal challenge and an opportunity to showcase the precision, dedication, and knowledge he has refined over two decades in the field.
Outside of work, Jessey is passionate about nature, hunting, fishing, and motocross—an adrenaline-filled hobby he now shares with his son, who works alongside him in the family business.
